ALL ABOUT SOULWINNING

One of the most sobering questions a Leader can ask is, “What am I building?” Is it merely a structure, a system of programs, or is it a dynamic soul-winning structure aligned with Kingdom expansion purpose?
As leaders, we can easily get caught up in administrative duties. While they are important, without excellent guidance, they can inadvertently cause us to lose sight of the very heartbeat of the Gospel, which is reaching the lost. In the Rhapsody of Realities article titled “All About Soul Winning” (May 22, 2021), Our Dear Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome reminded us that we are commissioned of God to take the message of salvation to others. Pastor Chris states plainly, “your life should be about soul winning; dedicate your time, effort, and resources to it”. Our Lord Jesus is coming soon, and our job is to take the message of His saving power to the ends of the earth. He gave us a job to do, and we must be about this job.”
This is a clarion call that demands serious reflection: Is your cell, outreach or church primarily focused on this divine mandate? The Rhapsody article makes it clear that our job is to win and bring them into the kingdom. One poignant illustration is our Lord Jesus’ encounter with the woman at the well in John chapter 4. The Lord Jesus, though tired and physically worn, John 4:6, intentionally broke cultural norms and personal comfort to engage one soul with compassion and truth. This interaction not only brought the message to one individual but an entire town.
